Beatrice Steinert Shares Dissertation Preprint and Upcoming RISD Symposium Talk

The STEMJazz community is excited to celebrate Dr. Beatrice Steinert, Postdoctoral Research Associate in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, and Biochemistry at Brown University, on two major milestones.
First, she has released a preprint of her doctoral thesis, “Lineage domains and cytoskeletal cables organize a cellular square grid in a crustacean,” marking a significant step forward in her research journey.
In addition, Dr. Steinert will join the panel “The Meaning of Design Science” at the RISD Design Science Symposium on Saturday, September 27, at 10:30 a.m. She will speak alongside Brown’s own Professor Stephon Alexander, as well as Olga Mesa (Roger Williams University) and Andrew Witt (Harvard University). The panel explores how scientific and mathematical thinking intersect with visual and spatial design principles.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Beatrice on these accomplishments and look forward to her continued contributions at the interface of science and design!
