Stephon Alexander Speaks at Lincoln Center

Stephon Alexander, an author, musician, and theoretical physicist specializing in cosmology, particle physics, and quantum gravity, had a rich discussion with Martine Rothblatt about cyber consciousness, mind clones, the connection between theoretical physics and the music of the universe. The event was called “The Theory of Self” and was a production by Dream Machine Experience Inc. & SOZO.

Alexander describes his work as the exploration of “interconnections between music, physics, mathematics and technology though recordings, performance, teaching and public lectures.” He has also performed and collaborated with Will Calhoun, Brian Eno, Marc Cary, Vernon Reid, Ronnie Burrage and Jaron Lanier on these intersections.
